Taken from Dukes of Windsor's major label debut Minus, Runaway reflects a sense of escapism, set amongst flowing synth textures, punchy bass-lines, an insistent rhythm and infectious, soaring choruses.

DOW vocals sound very Mar Volta-esque combined with a cool dance bass. This album is a combination of indie rock, but most of the songs allow you to have a bit of a boogie. There are a few tracks which stick out for me, namely the ones which have been getting a lot of air time, i.e. It’s a War and In the World. These songs are catchy but fade into an album of less memorable tracks – perhaps its an album that grows on you. But all in all DOW are an awesome band and their album is indicative of this.
